I thought of you when I scored that
Rail Romanesque is a 2/10 on the MAL scale
How does that compare to Pika's I wonder
I gave it a 4 I assume
or a 5
one of those
it was a 4
I was interesting going through my lists, because I can tell my mindset shifted about how many things I gave 4s versus 3s too
I'm never going to go through and update my ratings to be consistent or any of that nonsense
but I think a lot of stuff would shift down if I did
I shift stuff a point from time to time when I see it and think I gave it the wrong score
up or down
when I started watching anime, I had a google doc where I actually ranked everything in an ordered list, 1-100
and eventually put in breakpoints of where the 4/5 and 3/4 lines were
that sort of falls apart at scale
I know what my own grading criteria are, it's ultimately just how I feel about something
but I do think anything I give a 4 or 5 to I'd pretty broadly recommend unless it's super genre specific
I think it would be cool if there was a view in MAL that let you see shows from a specific season/year, grouped by your score

There are two witch shows this season where the witches are obviously evil
and not even in a MHA sorta way where they're being controlled/restricted in a way that causes the conflict
they're just straight up menaces to the world
Also Garbage, you'd probably appreciate the Champaign Witch's animation, even if I don't think you'd really like the show
