I still really like boomer swordsman
the show is just cool
Also dude, S3 of fire force is so poorly animated its funny
Having decent animation was one of the only things the prior seasons had going for it
Anyways, this is the worst season of anime in like 4 years overall
Replying to Dialga #god_of_time is it? i seem to remember a season somewhat recently that i think was weaker
Fall 2024 was also weaker, but that at least had the start of shangri-la S2 and Re;zero
and the monogatari side story season
which I liked quite a bit

I heard orb was good, but does not seem like my kind of show

This season feels worse for me because I am giving half the shows I am watching a 6 or lower
All 3 porn shows are dissapointing, aharen s2 is just not good even compared to S1 which was just okay, Your forma started out alright and nosedived
Vigilantes, sword boomer are high 8s, apocolypse hotel is a mid 8, the rent a girlfriend incest show is a low8/high 7,
Those are the only shows worth noting this season from what I am watching
I forgot to list fire force in my list of shows I think are not good
anyways, when I watch 11 things and most of them are not good, its a bad season
I already only pick things with a high chance of being good
Gushing over magical girls was one of my favourite shows last year
I do not rule out porn shows

I wanna say that that this most recent swordmaster(boomer) episode dropped my ranking of the show btw
Animation is jaring because of the commitment to swapping to cg for the fights, although I think the cg work is not that bad
I do think it was for the best because the fights end up more fluid for it
(obviously actual best would be traditional animation done well, but this is a non main project passione show, so its pretty good for that)
Replying to Dialga #god_of_time it also felt uneccesary for our main guy to decapitate the one girl's sister's body. she wasnt even posing a threat, it felt like maybe he could have done something to preserve the body a little longer for the whole mourning thing they kept bringing up
Remember that he had to chase the other two dudes and fight a knight, I don't disagree with his call and if anything, I think represents important traits of his character where he is just a really pragmatic and smart swordsman
This episode for sure had the most use of the cg because it was an actual fight
the other episodes it was less than 30 seconds, this one was more
I wish you were watching fire force, that was me with fire force which I watched right after swordsman
Other than the end, I like S1
S2 is worse but fine from what I remember (I never rewatched the second half)
S3 is bad so far
The best part of fire force is the fact that the author shoehorned it into being a prequel to soul eater for no reason
