Started reading the mangadex comment section for The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World, and the comment that frustrates me the most is "I like this Manga. Because it is not a harem" (first chapter) And I'm like, Motherfucker. It's too fucking early to tell if a manga will become a harem or not. At a minimum, it takes 4 episodes for a show to become a harem, and that's with introducing a new girl every week.

I didn't actually say that since I don't have a mangadex account, but the comment really grinded my gears.

all series with women are harems

and if there are no women, it's a deconstruction/commentary of the harem genre

hard disagree, shonen maybe, but so many great female mcs and heroines in shows without harems

every female is just a love interest for the main character

romance is not exclusively harem

its a range of small harem to large harem

and if you get to primarily female casts like madoka Magika its a deconstruction of harem like spooky said

i still never finished watching s2 of index but who needs index anyway

railgun probably won't get to the never ending flashback that the manga has been stuck in for probably 2 years now so it should be good

sure, I think it's unlikely in the next 10 years we get a NGNL anime project

I think a Shiro spin-off is the most likely, at maybe 5-10%

and a S2 is <5%

so shanna season 4 is a go spooky

Shana got a lot of love for her series' anniversary

There was a timeline where if the Ranma 1/2 remake popped off, it would have been a non-zero chance to get a Shana project thing

but I think neither make much sense

A fullfire shana brotherhood where it fixes the many issues with the show would be something

As much as I like FMA, I think there are essentially zero shows that need/deserve a full remake

actually I take that back

Soul Eater deserves one sorta

Once they finish the prequel anime series

most shows that I think the adaption did dirty, aren't notable enough series to warrent it

I think the only things that deserve it would have to have outright horrid adaptations, but usually the process of having a horrid adaptation would make me lose interest and not care

so its a double edge sword

sorta like that, I'd like if they actually wrote more SAO Progressive novels

since they were really good

but I think the author got bored of his own world a little

The old show people use to call on, was Deadman Wonderland which was a top 10 series at the time the anime adap butchered

but that's also still semi-modern

I think if we're taliking actual remakes at this point, we should dig up some 90s series

I'm only against the Ranma 1/2 one (other than the remake was done poorly) because of how long it is

I am against it because I had Mappa

although they are finally giving me zombieland saga movie

so the mappa stock is back up

the ranma remake was decent

though ididn't watch the original

the Fruits Basket remake was really good
