I hate cutting studios any slack on this, because it genuinely ruins the series
show didn't seem mired in production issues up until that point either, so kind of crazy that it turned out to be this severe

I think I'm starting to appreciate just how married to the trope these otome series' are
it's absurd how little they all deviate from the formula, down to even the names they use
but in a way, that itself is kind of charming
