Replying to Dialga #god_of_time its inconvenient as a viewer but i think on the other side of things it helps maintain the quality of the show, production wise spooky.

they introduced random no name enemies who can just throw meteors at the mc because they fucked the power scaling
no justification for this, they could just do this
They did the same fucking arc of red hair manipulating the heroes to fight shield hero from season 1, twice in one season, the same exact way both times
They for some reason made a blind furry who is so cool guys isn't she important haha wow she got one of the 3 really good animated sequences
They made the bird loli have an insert song

Based premise
Shield hero quickly introduces things, then forgets about them because they were introduced without having a real purpose and it was just because the hack author thought that it would be cool
hey remember when they went to another world last season, yeah, thats not really important though so forget about it
except now there are infinite other worlds and some of those people come here for literally no reason
Shield hero had such a good chance of being great, which I presume the anime part that was 10/10 was the first novel
then the author had no idea what to do, and rapidly tanked it
Replying to Dialga #god_of_time the other heroes are just laughably stupid
Watching it I was thinking of a better plot where the 3 heroes knew something was off the moment shield gets spurned by EVERYONE. But they were smart enough to play along and secretly worked to discover the truth. But that would require a competent writer..

A better shield hero does not resolve the entire point of the plot in the first cour of the anime

literally everything set up was resolved
season 3 was truly the first season where there was literally nothing to go off

you can literally end the show without dealing with those
