I have no idea why episode 7 of my slime show was animated completed differently than the prior 6 episodes, but that episode was awesome
guess they had a different animation director or something for this one
wait when the fuck was it announced that strange fake was actually getting its anime this winter

Shangri-la is the most unfocused show
It's almost charming in just how everything progresses at random intervals
This season has been kind of skitzo for sure
"I need to get the powered suit"
"actually I am being dragged into a meeting"
"okay, as a sideplot to the powered suit, I am going to kill scorpians"
"oh, I can't wear the suit, right, guess I am playing a mecha game"
I think the author knew that he could not wear them
and that was the joke

To derail this because I learned of it last night while talking to polu and garbage, the composer who did the music for sword isekai and gushing over magical girls is doing the passion show in the spring season, so I am now extra hyped for that

Replying to Dialga #god_of_time caught up with Shangri-la frontier, This mecha arc is so boring lmao. that might be personal bias, because i do not care about mecha stuff at all, but i really just wanna go back to the main thing. I felt this way with the fighting game side-arc in s1 too, its just so meh.

full agree, it's random in a charming way but the longer it goes on the more I check out

that said, weathermon is a hard act to follow up, and the show will not feel as good until they get to the next huge arc
