I liked the ones that showed up in the anime
Konosuba is kind of similar to toushin gent if you think about it
I think pirate means both are somehow a direct result of rance
(Rance -> mushoku tensei -> konosuba, toushin gent is just rance -> pirate -> toushin gent)
Konosuba is significantly rance-core yes

dark gathering done, good anime
I think its the only horror esc anime I've seen, not counting meiruko because that is not really a horror anime
