Its not even just sequels, although that is always at least half my seasonal list
of my top shows of all time, 6 of them are from the last 2 years
There just have been a lot of really good shows
if we widen it to 2020s, throw tsubaki, 86 on the list
I’m glad interspecies reviewers is there
interspecies reviewers is a masterpiece dialga
it perfectly executes its premise
and has a weirdly compelling amount of worldbuilding
Anything I've given a 10 to, I think is special on top of just liking it a lot
I do change scores
none of my 10s now I disagree with though
I surprise myself with my scores a lot
the only change that's happened is I've lowered takagi on the list, and raised tsubaki over time
(the list is roughly in order of how much I like each)
Yeah, I do that, and I lower things if on rewatch I think I overrated it
There are shows that are fond because of what they were as an event airing
same take on renai flops
I think I gave it the right score, even if I think about it often

I do like some of the callback stuff this season has done, like them ending the fight in the place from E1, thats cool
I was not a fan of the game because dark souls sucks
but I like the IP and devs

It's July 1, 2020. Mizuha, a high school second-year, is having the worst seventeenth birthday ever. She's missing her chance to get close to the older student she admires, and her parents didn't even remember that it's her birthday. Worst of all, there's a new and unknown infectious disease making the rounds, so all her club tournaments and school trips have been canceled.
She's convinced that she'll never have the dazzling youth that she's always dreamed of... but then her childhood friend, Kizuki, suddenly declares himself a candidate to be her boyfriend.
This is a school youth story about four childhood friends who grew up like family, one being the heroine, Nishino Mizuha, and the four boys she grew up with whom she sees as family.
