they used an interesting song for the ED
it's done by FAKETYPE, sung by the show's VA
all of their stuff is this same sort of swing-rap
Yeah I thought the ED was interesting too
I can only think of a couple other shows done like it, and most of them don't get western subs

Danmachi is the best thing I'm watching rn, which is nice but also disappointing
shangri-la will likely be my best, followed by re:zero then danmachi if I had to guess
unless slime really pops off
Dandadan has already started to slip, and most of the seasonal isekais are kinda mid
ReZero will make or break based on how they do certain plot points, but I don't have a lot of hype week-to-week for the show rn
and yeah, I'm sure shangri-la will be good
You also did not like S2 and I really liked S2, so that probably also has a bit to do with our difference in excitement
I just want to see more reinhardt, he's so cool. He is the RIBA of the re:zero universe
I don't usually feel this way, but the WN for ReZero is genuinely well written and well translated to a degree that it's hard to adapt well
I have plenty of LNs that I really like, but it's rarely the text itself that I think holds back an adaptation
well, 99% of the time the anime is just straight up a better expeience than the source material
so it sucks that re:zero is that 1% for you
it's the only one I can think of with that problem
partially because they have turbo autist translators who do a really good job
I guess Overlord is the next closest, just due to the unique writing style, but I don't think as much is lost in translation to the anime
