I'm somewhat tempted to read the LN, but should probably let the anime finish, I get the sense there are some story beats that are going to annoy me coming up
yeah, that's specifically what I read and thought all of this Kaguya-esc family shit makes this story way worse
I can't think of a single thing off the top of my head that I liked to a significant extent that was based off of an LN

We could only eat so well last season because they spent the entirety of it underground
I still can't get over how good last season was
prostitution arc was the worst season
that season of Danmachi is the same as SAO Alitization for me

So many things I was watching hit at least season 5 recently
date a live finished though, I am pretty sure Danmachi is no where close to done
Danmachi could go on forever
Danmachi is kind of like my hero where the start was pretty good, then it went to shit, then it had an absolute banger season out of no where
I read a fair bit of the main LNs, and they are decent reads, but imo the anime is a way better adaptation
the only neat thing about the novels is you get more from the god's perspectives
rather than the anime where they decided after S1 to be 99% Bell all the time
But he's so cool
he is white kirito
so cool
his harem is one of the most comical I can think of
where there will be episodes of nothing but him interacting with different factions of women
and 10+ girls in one episode hitting on him
Man at any given point in the series has at least 1 woman who is actively lusting after him during an episode
and still can't pick up a single girl in a dungeon
While I am discussing Danmachi
the season 3 OVA is hilarious
and is one of my favourite things from this franchise
I am sad there is no gif of Hermes coming out of his hiding place as a bench
that is such a good no context scene
The indian really sells this
I like how the brown guy, has so many browns in F tier
unirronically, I feel like 80% of these could be said to be part of Bells harem
very few shitposty ones
spoiler for the season 3 OVA but that does not really matter
he is just hiding as this random ass bench for an entire scene
and it kills me every time I think of it
I am sad they did not do the traditional skitzo meme OVA for season 4
