This has been my OP of the season
Replying to Polar_ #polar_ The Weathermon fight was pretty sick. I'd want to watch a super cut at some point that cuts out some of the Pencilgon and Oikatzo sections. I know he just got his moon blades, but I was hoping Sunraku would keep Weathermons Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker katana.

Yea, it really didn't have many points of slowing down for exposition. I still think a super cut of the fight like a movie would be really cool. Maybe when I'm home if I'm still thinking about it. I have like three episodes left I think, so I'm saving them for after I travel.

did a tournament arc for no reason
and reset everyone's progress 3-4 times

he and Nagatoro agree to psuedo-date after the tournament is over, then 50 chapters of tournament, it ends, they start dating and hug, and then the manga kind of just wraps up and he graduates HS and goes to art school
mind you, it's 140 chapters total
she stops teasing him meaningfully way before that, there's not really any comedy and it's not really an interesting drama
It's got good art and well-balanced dialogue, but there's nothing to it

is a huge issue
every arc is supposed to be about him becoming more confident or w/e
and even the final chapter, it's him stuttering on stage giving a graduation speech
even the fucking anime has him have character growth
learning the manga reverses it is sad
with "no clear dream" and doesn't know anything
"and that's ok"
that's not even the message, the message of the manga is to surround yourself with interesting people, and that you'll be surprised who likes you
that's comfy and all, but like.... that's not 140 chapters of interesting

idk, I stopped liking Nagatoro pre-tournament, and only caught up because it is ending

I liked the two seasons of nagatoro we got, I do not think it needs any more
