Same way I fall for it every time too. The episode I miss skips the end of a fight and I just assume that story resolved it off screen
I only made it 7 minutes into episode 7 before realizing I did not know what was going on

It's kind of amazing that the VTuber industry has restrained themselves and not created one giant bubble
It's actually stable and growing at a healthy rate, for what it is
Man, the second half of season 2 was so good
this season just sucks

Mint, I like slime, but I think the real issue is studio 8bit overextended
they are doing 3 seasons 3s this season
if they were just doing slime, I think it'd be less bad, but they are also doing yuru camp and irregular

I am moreso pissed that the Hinata fight they were hyping up since season 1 (they showed it in the season 1 opening) was lame

If I had to rank the cores of slime, season 1 cour 1> season 2 cour 2 > season 1 cour 2 > season 2 cour 1 = season 3 cour 1
I really like slime too, I just think this season has been worse than average
Anyways this discussion made me revamp my rankings now that most shows are either done or almost done this season

Minto, this season of Slime's adaptation is terrible
it's a literal meme that every episode is a boardroom meeting
and somehow still, the entire plot is characters getting obviously tricked/manipulated, REALIZING THAT, and still going along with being tricked/manipulated for some reason
Hinata seeing Tempest for the "first" time was good, and the Lumia scenes are funny
I can't think of anything else that was well done though, writing a plot where the charcters act retarded "and that's the point" is fucking stupid

I didn't like Konosuba as much as the prior seasons, it's probably borderline 3* 4* for me

Interesting. I really liked this season. I think while the last 2 episodes were just okay, there were a few episodes that I'd place as top Konosuba episodes along with S1 and S2 top episodes

I didn't find the majority of the S3 studios' humor interjections funny
the dry humor, like the deadpan pauses and sarcasm imo are peak
which is 100% of what S1 and like 80% of S2 and the movies were
now it's maybe 20-30% at most for S3
