They seem to have started as the studio that did the promotional animations for FGO

or some of them anyways
I would say that is just as much on the script writers, as it is the animators though
They still have the director I really like
Who did the earlier seasons and princess connect
The guy I liked who did some script work on S1 sadly never returned
(creator of Kamikatsu)
Polu it would make my year if S2 of kamikatsu was announced
or S1 of the spinoff
Oh yeah, I forgot the kamikatsu studio was working with Silver on S2 of this https://myanimelist.net/anime/49981/Kimi_to_Boku_no_Saigo_no_Senjou_Aruiwa_Sekai_ga_Hajimaru_Seisen_Season_II

Second season of Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen.
myanimelist.netI have to finish rewatching S1 of this
I did the first 3 episodes, then got busy with my thesis
lmao
I thought you did watch it, I always write this in my head as "the leg anime"
thats funny
I enjoyed S1
I flat-out, don't like Darkness as a character past vol 2 or 3, through the entire series and spin-offs
you can write funny situations with her in them, she doesn't take away from other characters or good writing
but I have zero investment in her and don't enjoy her stories
idk why
That said, I think this season is pretty good, though I don't like the studio as much as everyone else does

That is literally a scene out of liar liar's last arc
It is amazing how similar this show looks/ is in premise
My read is that she's choosing to speak slowly to simulate an accent, she's a good VA and did a good job here
Dungeon Meshi's last episode was good
the weird part will be, they only have 1 more cour left to adapt, so it's kind of strange how they aired a 24e S1
probably early-mid next year they'll air the last arc

twitter.comNot surprising. Dungeon Meshi was doing very well and Trigger seems to like it
I think the second half has been way stronger than the first half
the adaptation is 66-75% complete depending on how you count chapters/story adaptation
so there's not much left to go, my guess is they got a headstart on production after S1 blew sales expectations out of the water
Yeah that is probably the case
so we'll probably see the conclusion early-mid next year

prtimes.jpUnrelated because you are mistaken, but I think trigger is a good studio for visuals
a certain type of show that needs to stretchy goofy animation, they nail
Can someone explain the motivations behind the evil faction in Slime Isekai?
which one
(I have not watched todays episode)
the vamp larpers
so, monster racism made sense
Daemon Lord supremacy or influence jockying made sense
personal vendettas against the Storm Dragon or against human reincarnations makes sense sure
but it seems like the main evil faction now is opposed to "economic development"
and I feel like I have to be missing something
if it's that, I genuinely can't see the parallels is the thing
you get mentions here or there about Eastern Merchants or w/e, but nothing that makes sense for the ultimate evil faction to oppose the MC and destabilize half the world to prevent international trade from occurring
I think the premise that they just hate Japanification, and need to prevent Slime from using his isekai autism to invent ramen shops
would be better writing than what we got
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 but it seems like the main evil faction now is opposed to "economic development"
it's a merchant faction so... i guess they want to keep wealth centralized in their territory as opposed to shifting to Tempest. i think they're gonna get pushed aside by.... Yuuki's(if that was his name) faction, since it seems he's manipulating them in some way. actually grandmaster yuuki is the one i dont understand. idk if i'm forgetting something from previous seasons, but idk why he wants rimuru dead.
My guess is that Yuuki is opposed to Japan for w/e reason, and that ends up being the overall motivation, which I said was fine
The merchant vamp faction though, I feel like I want the show to explain to me PRECISELY how economic development is bad, because they used that line in today's episode and it was laughable. If they decide to use some justification like: "we use monsters as slave labour, and Tempest prevents us from getting cheap slaves" that's at least something, even though it's ooc because Rimaru isn't anti-slavery. But you know as well as I do Dialga, that economics is not a zero sum game and increasing the overall production in the world is EXACTLY WHAT MERCHANTS WANT because they can trade more finished goods then.
They did bring up the angels again, which are a funny mechanic, but are probably the only interesting aspect left to play with since the power scaling of the rest of the world is completely solved at this point
idk, I'm just annoyed that the merchant faction is opposed to merchanting
today's episode of meetings was much better paced than the other 10 meeting episodes though
so I'll give them credit for that
They spent all their bird mana re-rolling for admirals
" I feel like I want the show to explain to me PRECISELY how economic development is bad" Slime S3 is the inverse of spice and wolf
lol
