but yeah, weird to me how noticble the animation drop-off was by the end
the final sequence especially, looked like they had only done one pass of touch-up
I had problems with it, but it was better than 90% of the crap that came out
other than the easter eggs, it was a really simple movie

Depends on the game, and live action makes it hard to make it more than half decent
I think you could do a cool 2-3 episode animated mini series for each of the mainline 3D zelda games

I think it can work either by having Zelda already established, he's the hero and has been doing stuff already, and is thrown into something new as part of the overall plot of the world
or you can do the origin story setup, he's on some farm or in some village, and destiny comes calling
idk if either one is easy to pull off
you'd need a good story that feels complete but also small in a big world
WW would be best for that cause a lot of the game is going island to island and that would be least damaging doing like a montage of meeting people to save time
if you have it go from 0-100, Zelda starts as a nobody and finishes as the savior of the world, it's fucked regardless though

I really hope it's not a game plot, I don't think any lend themselves to being adapted well into a movie
If it were a two or three movie thing, ocarina would be great because they could cliffhanger when he pulls the master sword for the first time
tbh, if you have a good writer it's a fun project, you're given an established world and lore and basically told
"you can do anything, Zelda timelines lmao"
that is the least interesting zelda timeline/world

the "Zelda World" is just a list of races, area names, and items/iconography though
if you don't constrain it to an established game map, it's really wide open to write a story
