By the way when you do I reccomend doing toushin toshi 2 first.
The reason being that they kind of have similar things happen, but TT2 does it better.
So you'd be losing less of the surprise

These guys literally ported a game from like 1988 that was on the MSX to modern windows just so they could translate it
And the only reason they even did that was because that game happened to have a character that was later re-used in a spinoff where rance is a grader schooler
No, rance is the one of the 2 first games alicesoft produced
If it was connected it would be after from what I have played
But I don't know how much the later rance games could expand into it
I'd say them actually being a "shared universe" is more just comedic references, and it's more like they just reused the same concepts
But us at the Phijkchu Rance Bookclub are waiting for Rance 03 to come out before we go through the rest of the series, so we don't have the full picture
