Re:Zero is dark fantasy take on Isekai, while Konosuba presents a parody take of Isekai. Both predate Mushoku Tensei, which had already become an Isekai cliché before it even existed.

People try to shit on isekai by using Frieren'as a reference, but do they know? Frieren is a 100-chapter shounen bloated with cliché fantasy and cliche shounen elements. Re:Zero is tremendously better than it, and it's not even close; there are whole levels of difference.
