admittedly I'm an idiot,
But I thought last week was the Dungeon Meshi finale
was surprised there was an episode this week
my only continuing show
I was inspired to read the entirety of Dungeon Meshi, after dropping it years ago
It's a really confusing series, but I think the author is actually a really good writer
Not going to spoil anything, but I think I understand why people like it now, or at least why it used to get reccomended so much
I don't even think it becomes stronger or anything, I just think the initial premise and expectations everyone has when they read/watch the series is 1000% not what it's about, and not in a gay "this is so deep" sort of way
I don't think I'd ever recommend it tbh

the story takes several weird turns but its easily my favourite manga ive ever read
it won me over, and I think if it had a different title I would have been recieved better
I also REALLY appreciate the ending, that it wasn't all building to some deeper gay meaning or anything
I also tend to like stories that take place over a very short amount of time
not sure why, just one of those neat aspects
