Strongest Tank failed the task of not having a boring second episode

Healer Isekai episode 2 is done quite well

it does this little done thing in isekai where the characters put in effort to achieve strength

ok, all the shows this season have started

we can now collectively scratch our heads trying to determine if there's even a "best" show of the season

Of what I am watching, I like the magical girl show the most not counting sequels or continuing things

healer isekai or level 99 secret boss

neither being even very good

If we include sequels, I really like dangers in my heart S2 so far, but I really liked S1

oh, the school shooter romcom

yeah, S1 of that was good

metalic rogue needs more episodes for me to even know what I think about that show

it was well animated but it is bones so that was expected

the passione show is the weakest thing I am watching this season unless anything else shits the bed

Bird Boomer or 7th cycle princess are probably my favorites

i haven't seen Pii-chan yet

even though bird boomer is already showing that they don't have the budget for fluid motion in E2

the 3 minute hot spring isekai show is not getting subbed so I will not watch that

I want to like Dungeon Meshi more

Dungeon meshi is not trigger enough for me to like it for the spectacle, its just alright

I REALLY like the genre

I am going to keep watching Sengoku Youko until i get really bored because the source is apparently pretty good and its a full adaptation

I never cared for Dungeon Meshi's source though

because it's not really a "slow-life cooking show"

idk what to even call it, it's a averagely-funny slapstick comedy, with good art design

it's not really a food show

it has really good faces at the very least

for the elf girl

the elf girl is the sane one

torture princess is unirronically a better food show, than dungeon meshi

the viewer stand in

Natsu e no Tunnel, Sayonara no Deguchi, is the best thing that's aired

but it's a movie

spoiler: it's about a tunnel

probably will get split into episodes later

this is the off season before the stacked season that is spring

there are a lot of fun, solid 4 shows this season

which I enjoy

but yeah, literally nothing standout

This season is helped by frieren and shangri-la being 2 cour and continuing

instant-death cheat skill could end up hitting the klombak point, and become great

which were the best two shows last season

Pii-chan is probably going to be held back by it's budget from becoming really great

and all of the fantasy/sci fi shows don't seem to really be trying to be more than just "good enough"

despite having potential

the seasonal slop though, is really good slop

I thought the Level 99 show did its first episode really well for what it is

yeah, it was good

Though I predict the next 10 episodes will be "everyday life at the training academy" before ending on a 2-episode fight against some miniboss to end the season

this season is good for horny shows though

passione really did revive that genre
