@PirateMan64 since you like my pokemon updates, and since I fell behind and had not watched as much its been a while since I've done one.
Finished season 3 and 4, overall disjointed in them. There is long stretches of like 20+ episodes where every episode starts with "and on the journey to X town". About 40% of these episodes are fun, most of the in between town episodes are sub par.
Celebi movie is worse than I remembered, it really is kind of a nothing movie and does not feel on the scale of the first 3 films or what I recall of the 5th film (and the CGI aged really badly).
I finally hit the Pikachu shorts I have never seen before (I had vhs recordings of the 4th and 5th movie, I never had actual copies of the movie so I never got to see those shorts), the 4th movie short is the worst of the first 4, but its still good
I also had never seen the pichu bros short that was included with Pikachu's winter vacation 2001 which was fun since I like the pichu bros
I wonder if you can tell when I got busier with school and where my pokemon watching motivation died a little!

I am at least on pace to finish the entire original series and maybe like half of gen 3 before 1 year has passed

Ye, iirc every movie 4 and up is complete trash imo
Except the lucario one which is like 11 or smth i think that one's pretty good
I like a lot of the future movies, 4 is just kinda bad
I've never seen any of the movies past gen 4 though
other than koko which was bad

I got the whirl island side miniarc before more progress gets made on gyms
I remember the bathing episode i think that one was fun, but ye i can see how some are fun and some are not
So, there are some episodes where whoever was the episode director did a fantastic job
super fluid animation for the time, and they remembered the movie osts existed and used them
thats like 1 episode in every 6 was like that
and those, despite not advancing the story at all, were really good
Jotho league was pretty epic tho imo and i think the whirlpool island stuff was also really mixed
The next set of things I am watching (I threw Origin in at the end of this since thats gen 1 anyways)
Idk hoenn arc will be good i think, but season 1 is definatley the only one that has like a coherent story
The only thing I have not seen from this set is Camp Pikachu

In addition to those, another 1/6ish episodes brought back old characters which I like
since it adds continuity
The electrabuzz girl is pretty fun
there was like a 3-4 episode stretch where they brought back the ditto girl, the pokemon snap person, the squirtle squad back to back
and that was fun
electabuzz girl has not shown up much, iirc she pops off in pokemon chronicles
and probably more in master quest
This is how far I got the last time I tried to watch all of pokemon (over the course of like 12 years), so I will not start seeing new episodes until episode 61 of hoenn
(not that I remembered most of the episodes of this anyways since its been 10 years)

Somehow Garbage has gotten in contact with Leg, and this is all he had to say after all these years
