The evengelion wants to destroy humanity because she is some weird alternate dimension monster (motive unclear). To do that she needs to collect all of the demon slayer hashiras so that she can use the key arrows to unlock the power plant to blow up the earth

the main guy wants to stop that and save his brother forme de mindfucked white hair and his mom forme de demon with horn eyes

all of Fire Force reminds me of the first part of Fullmetal Alchemist everything feels like a side plot, but while in FMA they all get brought together and things click

I feel like Fire Force never really pays that off

I think the author of this/soul eater is kind of a hack when it comes to stories, but is pretty good and setting up unqiue characters and making them do wacky things

He was really bad at keeping characters relevant in the Soul Eater manga

and kind of just eventually rushed out a conclusion, because monthly mangas SUCK

and at some point I think he realized he'd been writing in circles for 15 years
