S2 is my lowest rated show on mal
its bad on a fundemental level, even ignoring the 6 episodes spent in the turtle
unironically, the tit jiggle in the last episode is the only well animated part of all of S2
no idea how it did in Japan, which is what matters
but it is really panned in the west

I think pre directors cut I gave Re;zero S1 a 6, Directors cut fixed some pacing issues so I gave it a 7
I think he gets better as the story progresses, but yeah he is a bit cringe
Speaking of the rezero, I did not mention it, but the suicide squad isekai is being written by the author of that
