I think they need scaling
but I can see how that could be a double-edged sword
Interesting
I never really cared one way or another if pokemon was hard
I like the collectathon aspect of it
I want them to speed up aspects of the combat (which may just be a performance issue idk)
and add set back in
for whatever game they do next
Hopefully this is like Kirby where I suspect the follow up game will be amazing
pls
although Kirby was already very good, just short
Max, I want you on the record with a prediction
wtf did I get timed out for
fuck off
lmao
based
Max
ok anyway
that's funny
you are now -min since that is mathematically the same
Do you think the next Nintendo Console will be different from the Switch?
i.e. not just the Switch 2 or Switch Pro
I can't imagine a world where nintendo goes back to old console design and not a gimmick
I think it is switch style systems until new tech allows them to do a gimmick they thing is worth doing
that's what I think too
the only reason I asked, is when you say S/V will be a top 5 Switch game
it feels like to me it'll be hard to stay top 5, if we get another 10 years of games on this platform
If it has backwards comparability with old switch stuff, maybe I'll get it. It's been what, since 2016 since I got my switch?
nvm, clearly not it came out 2017 lmao
everything released on the Switch, is designed from the ground up to scale
so I have 100% confidence that's how it's going Pika
That's good
there are games released on the Switch now, that can't run on the Switch
have you seen Witcher 3
runs at <10 FPS
Nintendo should let you run multiple switches in parallel to increase preformance
just buy 10 switches
Why would you remove parallel processing. Isn't that a huge thing to speed things up
I only know its applications for math programing though so idk
because for GPUs, syncing the video output between two co-processors is more work than it's worth
you still can farm render jobs out to GPU clusters
Oh yeah I guess I was thinking of CPUs
I forget that they are different things sometimes
but the way SLI used to work, was that two identical GPUs would alternate which one rendered which frame
and there was a retarded amount of overhead to keep them synced
Completely unrelated to the current discussion, but I just remembered polu informed me jashin got crowdfunded within 30 minutes of it opening again
so I guess another season of that for me
crowdfunded on what?
I have no idea where they do it
