That show has an aestetic that I can't think of anything that comes close, except this show slightly
that show was linguistic with its humor, in a way that I think fan translators were only able to barely bring out
it's absurdist humor, couched in linguistic humor

what the fuck pop team epic, you can't start the episode with a 5 minute dora the explorer parody and then hit me with this
The worst part of that show
When explaining the show to me, explaining the endless 8 was what polu almost sold me on watching the show with
It's a neat concept, but for watching an anime, it's real bad when over half your second season is basically the same episode
Listen, I like pop team epic, where every episode is played twice but just with different VAs

I think that's just because they are trying to get through the backstory part of the plot fast
I picked up the manga after the first couple episodes
It very much stays the same throughout
It's biggest problem, is the author clearly likes introducing characters and then forgetting about them
Uses the Greek alphabet, then after he runs out of letters, just starts using numbers
The time skips aren't really needed either, it's not like the story is grounded enough to require "believable" passing of time

Since I finished the pedo anime I was watching, I couldn't decide what to watch from my backlog so I decided to watch one of my perpetual on hold shows. Decided to go back and actually watch happy sugar life since I only got to episode 3 initially before I fell behind and never caught back up
man I left that show off at such an awkward point
