it's really hard to make monster fun

i dont know how i feel about using mana to buy special mobs

Yeah that's the most important thing I want to get right

as opposed to random waves of them

on one hand that makes it fun, but on the other hand also op

Like more than anything else if I can make monster fun to play and also play against then I've succeeded

oh my god its like the battlepoint system in battlefront lmoa

I feel like leveling still isn't the right path for monster to be fun

but im open to being wrong

What do you think is?

i do like the mana to get more health and stronger and leap shit path

but i think moving that to out of game would make mob boring

while in game

If monsters gameplay is better it would be fine I think

the thing is mob was fun before dwarves became dummy powered

leveling you end up doing: okay I run in do 1 thing, die, run back, die, get powerful enough to do anything finally

making dwarves weaker would make mob more fun

you just run back and forth until you are powerful

i dont think all bows should one shot

snd sometimes the game is over by then

the default ones at least

Make them even strength and play king of the hill

if you die mid game as dwarf

most of the time with mob, my issue wasnt with running getting some damage done and being killed

I have no regrets I made something great and then neglected it like a redheaded step son

my issue was with dwarves being so overpowered that i couldnt even get some damage done as mob

i think its good for new players but there should be a downside to it like i said earlier

make it like the free trial

first 14 days of playing

you can have it

after that start playing legit

another thing with jimmy juice was that you cant manual heal with it

so they dont have time to learn to heal on time

make it able to then naybe

make it so jj heals when there are 5 hearts LEFT as opposed to missing

and you can heal with it manually

along with the 50 100 150 mana cost as the game goes on

How do you feel about a hero class that can heal other dwarves?

i think hero auto heal should also go

but not bruce style

that makes mob so hard

all of the heroes should have been able to proc

the nisovin bow wand change was my least favorite

I don't remember how hero auto heal worked

at the end of dvz

it cost 10 per heal

but

heroes couldnt regen mana if not on the shrine

and if gold was gone

But I'd probably keep it and make it cost more mana the more dead dwarves or something

thats what it used to be

I think every auto heal should also be manual healed

but the last change made it so heroes got 5 mana per second standing on shrine or 1 mana per second when gold was gone.
