he has a real plan

So Rob's plan, is to take venture capital money, to be a consultant for internet startups
and it'll work, because Rob is great at selling his experience in a way that out-of-touch VCs will love
I feel you underestimate how worthless you can be
and still get vc
that's not how it works
he's not strongarming anyone
he's going to get a check, for doing nothing
it's a pretty decent plan from Rob, I don't know why he wants to do this specifically
since if he' going to get a real job, it might as well be someone thing likes

the real projects, that will go somewhere, post for free on GitHub

everything on sites like this, are fishing for VC, and will flounder for 2-3 years before being shuttered
but those involved will still make money
kickstarter is better if you have something that will actually work imo
these things are all trash ideas that they just want 50 thousand for
and I'd wager 10-20% of these will get investments
