So 6 total
It's meant for a controller
You push in the left or right analog stick
And then holding RT or LT swaps the wheel
I hate controllers, but I can't help but think a lot of people would like DvZ with one
I would never use a controller if I could
eh, I actually bet they'er pretty run of the mill
The only thing I can't stand are games that are just keyboard, and just ignore the mouse
The Katamari remake did that
Same with Dark Souls I on PC
So you have to use WASD to move, and then arrows or IJKL to do camera
DvZ IS DEAD
Fs in the chat boys
www.youtube.comJanuary 4?
Max, thank you for existing
I'd go crazy if this was the technical level of knowledge in the cult
That's how we all learned though
how stylized would you make DvZ Max?
graphically, would you keep it pretty standard or pick some real distinct style
I guess a better way to phrase it
Is there a game with an art style out there you'd try to emulate
ah so obra dinn style Kappa
Dwarf Fortress art
I think even we could make that happen
ya, I'm not sure what kind of artstyle would work
My first instinct was something like that terrible game Ashen
But I think you need bigger/bulkier people
Make it like Borderlands
It's not like cell shading is the hardest artstyle to pull off
Man, I wish Ashen wasn't utter shit
I think you have to decide a couple big questions about the game:
How powerful should a dwarf feel? a player monster? an AI?
How much skill should it take to play?
How much building should there be?
How long should an average game last and the standard deviation on that?
How many players per round?
How much content do you pump into the game? Number of weapons, items, mobs, heroes, etc
