Maybe I'm completely wrong on this
But I feel like there aren't a lot of interesting indie games that are in 1st person
Ton of survival/crafting shit
By begging for donations Max
Kappa
I'm sure you could work out some system
Realm of the Mad God somehow made their system work
OK Max, here me out
What if the DvZ loot boxes gave you cheese for Rob's stupid mouse game
Our redemption arc has begun
I'd much prefer seeing Rob try to sue us
Because in his mind, he's pretend copywritten everything
Deadbones would be explaining to him how nothing works like he thinks it does
And Rob would just begin to lose it more and more
Dolf, network your shit better
No, I mean network your computers at home together
So you can just remotely get all your files
give me a second Max
And, then you're done
Actually though, DvZ if changed very slightly, and made kinda differently, could really be a popular, and great game. Use cosmetics and maybe cosmetic lootboxes, perhaps like Rob did and "Titles" too. Maybe simple P2W stuff as well. Do it like Town of Salem though and make it so everyone can get in game "gold" and this gold can also be bought. It can be used on SMALL P2W things like starting near a place, or higher monster chance or something stupid like that. There's two walls I see with it though. The first is netcode since that's hard, requires servers too which is iffy unless its P2P which is bad for such a game. The second is the building. Mining is easy enough to make, but the building is something else I could see as a wall. Other than that though, the next biggest thing is balance and gameplay setup. Movement isn't tthat hard, textures can be shit who cares, Music can be stolen from rob. Hit detection isn't that hard if you have the time to test it.
