Pokemon main series is probably the worst
since it was a main series
This site is keeping track of all E3 replacement events
I still want my breath of the wild style ice climbers reboot
the games have gotten less good consistently every game since black 2
excluding remakes
I liked oras
I liked the stupid freeflying mechanic
I thought it was a cute idea
i'm done with pokemon, after S/S, there's almost nothing they can do to get me to play another mainline game
I still have yet to play that lol
they'd have to blow up the franchise and formulas for me to care
Even a Black/White 3
wouldn't interest me at this point
I can live with the models (although sprites are obviously better)
but the gameplay and formula has been so fucked
and the story is less good
somehow
I don't need a story, at all
I like a story, but I would agree that no story > bad story
I just can't care about the railroad "catch-em-all" gameplay
anymore
it's not even the difficulty, I didn't think S/S was that bad (from what I remember)
I just think I'm done with the mainline games
maybe some cool experimental spin-off would interest me
but other then Nostalgia Gen 4 remake
and PMD:Sky DX
Pokemon colosseum DX
and pokemon XD DX

Make a new Pokemon Ranger game, and BotW it
that'd be cool
Pokemon rangers would work as an open world game
that's what they need to try
moreso then actual pokemon
Take Pokken to the next level, make some weird RPG out of it
Do another Conquest
Make an ambitious new Mystery Dungeon game
Make a Pokemon Snap
They have a huge captive audience, who will buy their shit
just make games
because snap was a charming concept
and they did it well for the most part
I don't even think it was the greatest game
but it's enough of a concept to make a $30 game out of
with gyro controlls
snap would be cool
scope it better, make it fun, and it'll be a cult favorite
