I liked the Wii one
it's no thousand year door
cut compared to the last 3 games, I'd take Super Paper Mario in a heartbeat

These full-price switch games are killing me though
I don't tend to buy a ton of $60 games

there's a lot of possibilities, though 12 sectors might be too much
I mean more in terms of attack patterns
bouncing attacks, attacks which rotate the floor, or make dmg zones which move turn-by-turn
depends how many mobs they throw at you
all PaperMario and Mario&Luigi RPGs change up how many mobs they'll throw at you, and their relative strength
with 12 rows, and 48 total cells on the ground
I'm hoping battles have 10+ mobs consistantly
I ahve a lot of ideas, but I think this could be cool
if it's done right

God every time I see a paper mario game come out I just imagine, what if it was good
then I get sad
Literally all they need to do is take the classic gameplay
slap a paper aesthetic on it
and they have a good game

well and I played sticker star in that I played like 3 hours of it, hated it, then never finished

nintendo's track record with its spinoffs is bad lately. Their main series games are good but they keep fucking up the spinoffs

main series pokemon is bad
I almost consider luigi's mansion to be its own ip
and not a spinoff
