according to something i read you get the golden axe from breaking a ton of axes, so you should probably use the flimsy axe instead of the stone axe

i have caught 1 oarfish, on my 2nd day, and havent seen another rare fish since then

its driving me nuts, trying to get some for the museum and just getting bags full of sea bass/black bass

i've gotten so many rare fish, and its not due to time travel

i don't know what your problem could be

i;ve gotten 3 or more 15k fish in a single day

i've easily thrown like 30+ fish bait into river mouths and off piers trying to catch sturgeons and tuna too, and havent gotten even a normal big fish from the spots

there will be a prompt for it when you talk to them

you need to become friends with them first
