The best part about DX, is they keep all your fodder friends, on level
While off in their friend areas
Lvl 6 Caterpie you catch, will be about lvl 20 when you are
I haven't checked in depth to see if it stays that well tuned
But it means I can pick up random Mon, and actually use them

If you're farming P, it's actually adventageous to not buy the areas
Since Pokemon you recruit will pay you
That said, it's not like money's an issue in this game
