I am hopeful but pessimistic

the last two games were not fun imo

(well 3 I guess I did not buy ulltra sun/moon)

Aloha was stupid

the only thing to see is the shots, and the starters at the end

It ruined the anime too

It let me get a blackicate

Aloha had like 1 or 2 pokemon I liked the design of, most of them were meh

I didn't like reskins

Only one I kinda liked was the vulpix

I hope they're gone forever

I also really hated X and Y

only finished it to get pokemon for my omega ruby pokedex when I was trying to 100% that

X and Y I'm mixed on, I liked them at the time they came out just for the novelty

Don't really like them in hindsight though

First playthrough I stopped just before the elite 4 in X Y then did not touch it for like 2 years

i liked the theme x and y was going for, but it had too many minor flaws, sun and moon was abit better but tried too hard

sun and moon I stopped at the second island

still have yet to go back and finish it

this new one looks like its going to combined the pretty ascetics of x and y, the better quality of sun and moon and still retain some originality

The 3d looks alright in this one, so thats a plus

I miss the old sprite days though

I didn't give a shit about the gen 6 and 7 tie in's and call backs to gen 1

Only one of the recent 3d games I liked was OR

gen 3 remakes where the worst of 6 and 7

and even then, I'd say I still enjoy the original ruby to it

It looks linear

and reminds me of unova

Don't care for the starters that much

It looks nice, could look better

Hopeful for now, but we will see.

I think my biggest wish is to add difficulty settings

BW2 had them, but were postgame only

I will for sure be getting Shield

I know all games are, but the regions usually make you take unique paths

This looks like a straight shot

Unova was similar in the way you just did a big circle

though, I think unovas map would of better if they didn't draw a giant ass circle

the actual land/area is interesting

Hopefully they do SM shiny rates still- even though I prefer it being even rarer

I don't, not at all, want Let's Go shiny shit

I'm not sure what would be too radical of changes for the series
