If I didn't remember how much I hated Black Clover the last time I tried to watch it
this OP would make me want to try
I think it'll be a cold day in hell before I watch another shonen
I'll read them, sure
But it's going to take something out of left field to get me to put up with another Fairy-Tail tier anime

8th time's the charm
I think it's all down to pacing
I don't think Black Clover's bad, and the manga is pretty good and all
I just can't get into shows with awful pacing
Even for series I like, let alone series I'm not super into
And I dare you to find me a modern shonen which doesn't having pacing issues
MHA S1 is a chore and a half
and ^^
S1 we all memed that every episode is 20-30% flashbacks
over and over again
Black Clover S1 is the same way, it's just painfully slow
If I wasn't young when I started watching FT, I wouldn't have gotten to when the anime gets good
I'd have tuned out on the third straight episode of Lucy wondering how keys work
Magic tournement was my favorite
but Zero is pretty good
Tenroe Island, Laxus Civil War

The last 100 chapters
were retarded writing

Are you two up-to-date with Promised Neverland?
I caught up after I re-finished MT
I swing back-and-forth on what kind of series I want Promised Neverland to be now
but it's actually going in a good direction I think
