There is no way to publish databases as programs

You can set logins and have guis to deal with the data in the database

They can only be used in access

How many settings managers are there

I love a lot about Linux

I love using it in the abstract

Control panel, metro settings, admin tools, it's a mess

but things which should be simplified, or made accessible aren't, on any major distro

There are no convoluted managers unless you add convoluted managers

it's why I've embraced the hypervisor life FUCK containers and fuck linux machines which do more than one thing

Just keep the machines simple

Try not to install to many redundant packages

Try to stay withen repos

I like to have a separate testing machine to test and see which packages will use which dependices to make sure I'm not downloading dependencies for nothing

see all of that, is my problem with Linux as a concept I can have a Windows server serve 10 roles (if I give it really good read/write capabilities) past one thing, I'm better off having two VMs if I'm using linux, not to even get started on the additional headaches of weird work-arounds for no-longer-supported repos
