hat's off to you then, you have far more patience than I
Nothing infuriates me more than containerization, but linux is a close second
in terms of squandering what they could be
I love a lot about Linux
I love using it in the abstract
but things which should be simplified, or made accessible aren't, on any major distro
my problem becomes (similar to containers) things have way too much trouble coexisting on Linux
once you move beyond standard use of an OS, which covers 95% of people
for which even Chrome OS would serve their needs
I have problems; not that I can't do something, but that something requires so many extra steps
or takes an hour to diagnose a simple issue
it's why I've embraced the hypervisor life
FUCK containers
and fuck linux machines which do more than one thing
see all of that, is my problem with Linux as a concept
I can have a Windows server serve 10 roles (if I give it really good read/write capabilities)
past one thing, I'm better off having two VMs if I'm using linux, not to even get started on the additional headaches of weird work-arounds for no-longer-supported repos
containers were teh solution
and they fucked it up
Docker deserves to burn in hell
Kubernetes can follow it
