I'm pretty sad I lost my last nine weeks at school with everyone to corona, I know that there are people who lost a lot more than that but I still am pretty sad about it
The school musical went well, I played the clarinet part on my electronic sax so that was fun, definitely a good way to end the year I guess

Yeah they're reopening some beaches, supposed to be following social distancing rules in them still though
Mostly only the dumb people are actually going back out though

For some reason the governor also declared wrestling to be essential

Maybe it has something to do with the wrestling leader guy donating millions to the governor's campaign, but i cant imagine that has anything to do with it
I know some universities are looking into potentially closing for part of the next school year

A lot of universities are starting online
what's really lame though is they're jacking the online rates
so instead of paying a fraction of the cost, people are paying for "real" classes, and just getting online coursework
God that's so fucking awful
The biggest bullshit was my friends over at UNF were just not going to get the money for their dorms back
Even though they were kicked out of them pretty much
I'm not sure if its changed at all but man is that some bullshit
states should step in, and kick the shit out of their pubic schools
for trying to price gouge during Corona
can't do anything about private schools

I applied for the honors college by a stupidly early deadline because they gave out some two thousand dollar scholarships right
I didn't care for the other stuff but god am I a slut for money
Does UCF have a comfy honours dorm?
They told me even though they would like to give me one, they wouldn't because the school "already gave me enough money"
They do actually, I wasnt into it originally but I'm totally gonna stay at it now

It's right in the middle of this plaza area it's hella cool
schools either make the honours kids live in the shittiest dorm, or the nicest one
but how are you gonna tell me you already gave me enough money if i still have to pay 2300 a semester before all the extra fees
which i know is low but god just give me money
that's lame that they cap what you can recieve
I had a job this year but I lost it because of covid lol
