..like?
ah fantastic
I just think as a world there is no bigger problem that we'll face in the future lol
It's not something like "oh shoot its 2050 now, we gotta turn this around. Let's pass some legislation real quick and itll all be fixed"
It takes hella time, and so why shouldn't we start laying the framework for moving to cleaner methods
Yeah, it is the world's problem- and they all joined the paris agreement lol
There's only one important nation that isnt
What?
China is in the agreement
So is India
It's the U.S. that left, and you can blame carbon emissions on china and india, but america actually doubles india's emissions
The problems that India faces as the giant population is water treatment and pollution, not carbon emissions
And yeah I'm worried about plastic in our waterways killing fish, but I don't think that's nearly the problem that climate change will eventually pose
china alone pollutes enough to push us over the supposed line
Well, there's a certain party that I see pushing for a green new deal, and another one that I don't
green new deal lmao
The amount of arable land we have isn't really the biggest issue though- We produce enough food to feed the world, it's just the matter of how much of it is wasted
And billions to our military
Which, I'm totally down to have a huge military because I think china is a threat in the future
But I feel like there's a certain extent to where its unnecessary for it to actually be that big
Lol what
I'm just really confused as to leg's statement because I've never even heard of that idea before
I mean the second half
"global temperature is controlled by sun's surface temp"
And looking it up, it seems to be "the rate of change is so slight we won't notice anything even over many millennia, let alone a single human lifetime."
I don't think it's a mutually exclusive thing though
And I'm trying to find something that shows more than just the industrial revolution, leg so give me a sec
I like how lamp comes back and it is a political arguement
lol
hey lamp
welcome back
hey pika
supprisingly no
Good job gent
