and not a prime-time failure like the US one was

I figured you were ahead of me, and had just watched the end
tv is dying
So it did fine but that was with Corona
they gave it the 9PM TV spot on Fox
which means it did poorly in test screenings
It peaked at ~4.5M which is really good
So there will probably be a S2
but the show felt like a mess, in terms of production
I bet the budget was REALLY small, at least that's the feel I get
I have a feeling they saw the Aussie show, and someone pitched it to the studio
and got a tiny budget to work with

Like with most reality TV, I'm sure they scouted and vetted people, who could be put on TV
since otherwise you get the weirdos; who while good at Lego, don't make the show good
I liked the show
I feel like with a better crew, it would be a lot better
