I've produced a PhijkchuSubs version of the AC movie

anyway, the crux is either something is wrong with your 24-pin port (which is hard to do) or something is wrong with your power switch
I know you know this
There's just not much anyone can do to remotely diagnose what's wrong
I don't know of any good (safe) tests for the port, other than breaking out a multimeter
and checking impedance
you confidant that you have your power switch wired correctly, and are hitting the correct button?
