Washington Post made-up story aside, this is actually pretty cool
found a local paper, fuck WaPo
not that 1 day is a make-or-break thing
but it hopefully gets the message that "there are more important things going on outside school" through at least one more kids thick indoctrinated head
"I protest modern society by spending the day gaming in my room"
To me, the cool part would be if you and your friends are just chilling at school, and someone comes up with an idea to do something
you can just.... do it
well, you already could
but the 95% of braindead NPCs will more likely go along with it

I've said it before, but I swear that it has to be <5% of kids who exit high school that are critically aware
It's nothing but NPCs, politics aside
some make it a few years into university for an engineering degree instead of working at a pizza place without becoming critically aware

I work with a lot of braindead people as well, and their numbers are staggering
even the really smart ones
who can't see outside of their swim lane
I like the term "critical awareness" because it's the best way I can articulate what being "smart" is to me
critical thinking and self awareness
are all that someone needs to be useful/smart
the word is meaningless, sure
a lot of the smart people at my university are retards
the obvious solution is to work harder, and not ask questions Leg
