I was more hoping I could find an app that lets me arbitrarily access an easily customization webgui on my setwork, not intending for it to be externally addressable
there are alot of options
I was looking into hacking together some "digital signage" type display for my home
I was looking into some of the cheap 10-14'' monitors designed for digital sinage, which can use power over ethernet
and a lot of them seem to be built around gay commercial software packages
but, the Pi solution works too
it's just another piece of kit I'd have to hide in a wall though
mind you, I'm not really happy with any of the actual display tech I'm seeing, so the chances I put something together are pretty slim
