Nah its whatever you plug in
Youre usually able to
different designs
Control fans off of some of the headers on the motherboard but
Sometimes it just refuses
So Max, most good fans (non molex) use those little 3-4 pin connectors
you plug that into the controller
you can control them
OH
I thought you meant mounting pins
like, the literal screws you were mounting with
thought you were saying you could only line up 3
This makes way more sense now
yeah, the 4th pin is usauly PWM
power management
which lets you get speed data back from it
rather than just sending speed to it
LOL
Now this
is a fan controller
who needs knobs and dials
My big power server thing
has the coolest on switch
no, you have to turn a key, and then a thing pops out, and you can hit the button
God, this picture is shit
So, the little silver thing on the right, is the key
you press it in, it pups up, then you turn it
it's only running at 1/5 right now
I haven't racked it
(I should)
I was testing to see if I should bet a battery bank to go along with it
since I'm headed to the computer store on 7/7 for CPUs, thought I'd look at what batteries they had
Who is this for
