usually i get 100 from great grandparents or smtn and then 50 from other relatives
it's weird to get more than $50 from non-family or more than $100 from close family

like over 100 would feel real weird to me
But at the same time, I feel like if it's both parents giving you something "together" maybe it could go higher
maybe from parents if its a non cash gift
maybe your dad was just feeling generous
but getting like cash or a check for over 100 is weird
