I have been to every single one

I skipped more year-by-year

I missed like 1 or 2 total my Freshman year

i kept decent grades and was able to focus on my research

And by senior year, I'd have courses I'd show up to once

there was one course i onyl showed up the first class and never studied for the exams

I like going to lectures personally

still got Bs or higher

I like going to good lectures

Why would you skip classes

I like going to bad lectures to laugh about how bad it was with the others in my program

because grades are what matter and research is more interesting

I have a 3 hour one this semester

learning how to do vector arithmetic literally 3 times in the same day

None of us figured out the difference by the end of the semester

i skipped a ton of DSP lectures because i learned that material instantly and it actually was a waste of time for me to go

the professor actually asked me to do research for her

Which made the applications more fun

I feel like I had a lab once, that was just filter design for the entire year

i think there was matlab assignments though

My least favorite lab; funnily enough, was the one CS one I had to take as a Freshman

Only lab I've ever been required to stay the full 3-4 hours

how do you have a lab for intro programming

So I couldn't get out of taking baby's first Java class as a Freshman

Despite the fact I had been coding for 6 or 7 years prior to that

Actually, what I said earlier was a lie

That was the class, I went to 3 times

First day, Test 1, and Test 2

But there was a mandatory lab with it

Where they just give you asinine coding problems, that anyone who knew their shit could finish in 60 minutes

But we had to stay there 3-4 hours

oh i had a cs lecture where i completed the homework assignments before the lecture they were assigned in was over

I think the course was setup fine enough for people who knew nothing about coding

But it killed those of us who did

professors teaching that level should learn to weed out the knowledgeable and tell them not to bother coming to class

or give them more challenging assignments

Maybe if I went to class, that would have happened
