So, it's weird, because I really don't want to become Rob, but I'm not sure I CAN hand out my Chrome
I've had issues getting it to work on my new machine, and jsut use a portable chrome on that
Which is what I'd recommend you do
You can pick any version you want, and just run it the portable one
No different from normal Chrome, other than it's a pain to change the Windows default settings

That's the portable version I use, right before they really fucked up the Settings page, but after they gutted the bookmarks/Extension pages
