the problem with every region is levels

youd just be level 100 everything, and catching stuff would be useless

that's why I think you should not have access to old pokrmon in the new region

seriously though, a game based around the anime would be amazing. Go through all the regions, have reasons to have to get rid of pokemon, or 'send them away' - to encourage catching new pokemon in the new regions. you have your 'pikachu' that doesnt have a level, is basically always the same strength as the gyms in the area you're at
