or other means
Not even just symmetry though
A good portion of the time, these equations will have limits in them
yeah
And then 90% of the terms just go to 0
man i struggled with Algebra 1, i would never be able to understand this stuff
Like for antenna design, 99% of the time, you don't give a shit about near field anything
Because the equations are just meaningless
>approximate all objects as point like spheres
>realize I am already a sphere
feelsbadman
Kappa
dont you close your mouth
having two feels emotes is hard
since I just type feel then hit tab to autocomplete
Well, my midterm season is done until mid november when I have 2 more. Free time hype
So do they know who ratted out that class on rigging the curve?
Nope
They are pissed
We would have straight killed them
Not even fully exaggerating
I can believe it
Well, it's retarded to try that anyway
The one time we did something similar, was when we had a prof who gave obnoxiously long tests
And everyone agreed just to not bother with the last problem, so he'd throw it out
These were
He was just an asshole, who didn't time his tests
Mind you, he was a really easy grader, so it's not like it mattered
People just got fed up after back-to-back semesters of this shit
so the prof actually told them she will not fail them
and someone ratted her out
No Pika, she's a cunt
fuck her
fuck all profs who feel the need to fail X% of the class
yeah
I agree
wait people actually do that
Yes
Often
why
because too high a pass rate and they look like they made the course too easy, too low a pass rate and they look like they can't teach
It's usually for weed out courses, or early math courses
engineering is a joke degree change my mid
The idea is that you end up taking it twice, and really "master" it usually
But some professors do it for real classes, and fuck everyone over
only course like that I have taken was because the prof was an asshole
you miss a vector sign somewhere, 0 on the entire question
if you get like a 60 or lower on the midterm(s) he emailed you telling you to drop his course
I've had a lot of nutty professors in undergrad, but luckily the department would shut them down if they tried anything too retarded
Other than that and my "quantum physics proves the earth is cooling" quantum prof who was shit, all my other profs ranged from fine to great though
that prof just wanted to sell his book tbh
See, you need to be able to fail courses up until a point
But even I'll admit, by the time senior year roles around, most professors are going to pass you in the end
unless you really fuck up
The fun part about my program is that we do not need to group bomb midterms to raise a curve, math phys outpreforms the other phys programs by 10-20% so they lower the average for us
we are also a minority of physics students so we do not raise the average much ourselves
anyways, s l e e p
goodnight people
yes
get fucked libtard
