yeah i know
i feel like we've done this before
this entire conversation

lmao
If you has a printer from back in the 90s
It used to "print" out a port
But, as computers don't use serial/parallel anymore
Now it just captures a screenshot, and holds it in your clipboard
Yes, it's a OS level thing in Windows
yes?
i'm not sure what you're asking, max
Hit printscreen, open paint, and then ctrl+v
It didn't use to do that (like I said) but since XP that's what it's done
yeah it doesn't save copies of printscreens in some folder
that's the one drawback
It's also a shitty image, a low-rez .bmp
snipping tool into paint
that is what I do
Max, I thought you converted everyone
convert to what
Holy shit
Print Screen in a 05 interrupt on Windows
It has higher priority than just about anything
I record gifs using obs

kek
Despite how amazing it is
I wasn't expecting it to take precedent over some CPU opcode
Windows will prioritize a printscreen request, over some base level CPU calls
oh, it has to be so it can capture video in memory
I've come to learn today, Print Screen is retarded
print screen is r
eally useful
