CS is an important major, who else will get more important people coffee at google?
fair
oof
Taking all bets, am I a better cs student than most cs students with my limited python knowledge Kappa
I mean, coding is just logically structured problem solving
Probably would make cs majors better if you forced them to do either some rigorous math, or some physics before they continue
would weed out the bad ones
is it real physics though
or 'memorize this equation, apply it' physics?
No
I mean physics where you are taught the concepts and you are expected to extend the theory to solve problems
versus being taught how to solve basic problems, then being asked to solve the same problems with different numbers
yeah basically that
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
the best part of my degree is, I will know how atoms work at a subatomic level Kappa
rip
wikipedia makes my degree worthless again
Kappa
>assuming you are good enough to get a job at the end of it
Strange quarks over charm fight me
Strongly disagree
you have to at least be good at interviews
That is such a bad mentality to have imo
Never assume security before security is achived
Hardly
So there is a 100% job rate from your school?
Every single person who gets an eng degree gets a job at the end of it?
high is not 100%
that is all I am saying
Tread carefully and improve your people skills
rip xBrox
