Why do they need to nerf him when he's fighting an entire legion of good guys?

because with 2 stones he should be able to kill all of them by looking at them

one of the stones lets him manipulate matter, he should be able to crush ironman in his armor with a glance

its like 4 parallel plots that don't overlap much

if you haven't seen Black Panther you probably should

the only thing i dislike is how thanos actually gets weaker power scaling-wise as he gains more stones

he's actually a threat when he only has one

Yeah, that sometimes happens with these sorts of stories

the story in the comics was all secrecy and scheming because they knew thanos would one shot them all

in this, nah, ironman can tank a 4 stone thanos punch

I guess they deserve some props for keeping a coherent story out of this

it is quite coherent if you ignore the scaling

also in civil war iron man should have annihilated captain america without breaking a sweat

The airport fight should've been over so fast

They already established tony can remotely control a dozen iron man suits at once

and by a dozen you mean hundreds

if I am remembering iron man 3 right

he blew them all up in 3

he is tony stark, he could have build dozens since then

but he made his army of autonomous robots in Age of Ultron

which also got destroyed

How does a guy like ultron even get defeated?

which is how i hope thanos gets beaten
