You'll have classes when you get 40s on shit, but everything gets curved up

Mostly because grad schools in the states(even shitty ones) won't even look at students below a 3.0

Also keep in mind for E&M, the course I got a 65 in, about 4/5s of the class dropped because they were going to fail

E&M type classes were the hardest courses I took
the exam was bullshit
I went into it with like a 70 in the course and got knocked down 5-10%

it is not uncommon to retake the term I just took 2-3 times
because the courses are designed to fail a lot of people
it is considered the hardest term in all physics programs
Retaking a course a third time should be someones indication they should give up.

his class usually has 80% of people drop, 33% of people who actually write the final fail
he emails students if they fail a midterm telling them to drop his course

because despite him being a hardass marker, his exams are super fair
just make no minor mistakes and you are fine
but yeah, then my quantum prof is known for being bad
about 15-30% of people who write his exam fail the course
I had to self teach the material in order to do well in that course
he was useless
stats is the only bad grade that is on me
